Brocton Fire Department releases June report

The Brocton Fire Department has released its activity report for June.

The department had 42 total calls for the month. Firefighters rolled to 10 EMS calls in the village and 11 in the district it provides services for under contract. There were five ALS calls in the village and two in the contracted district. There was a single motor vehicle accident response, located in the district; and just one fire response, to a controlled burn in the village.

There were four work details and one drill. Mutual aid calls went to Portland (seven) and Westfield (one).

Finally, fire department personnel escorted the state finalist Brocton High School baseball team on four occasions. Two were sendoffs to playoff games and two were welcoming back the kids after they played.
