Silver Creek man charged in morning altercation
IRVING — An altercation early this morning led to charges for a Silver Creek man.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported the incident occurred just after midnight at an address on Iola Drive. It is alleged that John Lemke, 46, of 12593 Alleghany Road was involved in an altercation in which he intentionally caused physical injury to another individual.
Lemke was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and released with an appearance ticket and is to answer to the charge in the Town of Hanover court at a later date.
