SILVER CREEK — On August 5 at roughly 6 p.m., deputies were called to Route 20 in Sheridan to respond to a motor vehicle accident. Upon further investigation, deputies determined that an SUV operated by Jennifer Glowniak, 45, of Dunkirk, had left the roadway and collided with a tree. Glowniak was airlifted to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved and the cause of the accident remains under investigation. No charges are expected at this time. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Chautauqua County medics, the Silver Creek Fire Department and the Sheridan Fire Department.
