Pictured, the SUV involved in a traffic accident on Route 20 in Silver Creek early Monday evening. The SUV reportedly lost control and struck a tree, causing the airbags to deploy. Injuries were confirmed at the scene by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies and at least one individual was airlifted from the scene by helicopter. Responding agencies included Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Sheridan Fire Department, Silver Creek Fire Department and Chautauqua County EMS.
