BROCTON — The Brocton Fire Department has released its report for the month of August.

The department rolled to 10 emergency medical services calls in the village, and nine more in the district it is under contract to cover. It responded to one motor vehicle accident in the contract district and none in Brocton itself.

There was one fire response, for a barn blaze, in the district and none in the village. Firefighters also did one stand-by for the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team.

The department went on eight work details and made nine mutual aid calls to the Portland fire district. It had 42 total calls for the month.
