City police have made an arrest in an assault that allegedly occurred in front of School 7 on Friday morning.

Scanner reports indicated Dunkirk Fire Department arrived at the 348 Lake Shore Drive West location finding a man covered in blood. He was transported by the Dunkirk Fire Department to Brooks Memorial Hospital before 7.

Investigators were called to the scene. A release is expected later today.
