SILVER CREEK — On Saturday Sept. 15 at a local grape farm in Silver Creek the first Queen Of Grapes Pageant was held.

The Queen Of Grapes Pageant was created out of love for our beautiful grape belt region, the Festival of Grapes, and its past pageant.

The Queen Of Grapes Pageant is a privately run pageant offered to the community, with no affiliation to the festival itself. It is available to girls from all over the region entering grades K-12. The girls compete in formal wear, talent, photogenics and cute country attire; this year, three amazing young ladies were crowned.

¯ The 2019 Miss Queen Of Grapes is Chloe Budziszewski. Chloe is the daughter of Misty Budziszewski and the late Jeff Budziszewski. She is attending the 11th grade at Lakeshore High School.

¯ The 2019 Jr Miss Queen Of Grapes is Tehya Marr. Tehya is the daughter of Holly Turk and Jared Marr. She is attending the 9th grade at Silver Creek Central School.

¯ The 2019 Wee Miss Queen Of Grapes is Rory Hamilton. Rory is the daughter of Molly and Andrew Hamilton. She is attending Kindergarten at Silver Creek Central School.

Registration information is sent home in June 2020 for next year’s pageant. Visit the official Facebook page for up to date registration information. Registration is available all summer long for prospective contestants and closes Aug. 31 each year.
