NORTH HARMONY — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of one of the victims in a motor vehicle accident Wednesday.

According to deputies, James A. Ellis, 63, of Jamestown, was the driver of the tractor trailer cab that was struck by a pick-up truck on Route 394 in the town of North Harmony after the pick-up truck ran a stop sign. Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pick up truck’s name has not yet been released. He had been sent to Westfield Memorial Hospital for unspecified injuries.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
