DWI charges after rollover

PANAMA — A Jamestown man faces driving while intoxicated charges after a rollover accident in the village today.

At approximately 3:15 a.m., Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Meyers Road. Further investigation found Joseph R. Lindberg, 22, was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated state. Lindberg was not injured as a result of the crash but a 23-year-old male passenger in his vehicle did suffer minor injuries as a result of the accident.

Lindberg was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, speed not reasonable and prudent, and moving from lane unsafely. Lindberg will answer his charges in Town of Harmony Court at a later date.
