Jane Lindquist
ARKWRIGHT — Jane Lindquist has announced her candidacy for Arkwright Town Clerk position.
A lifelong Chautauqua County resident, Lindquist has lived on Center Road in Arkwright for the last 15 years with her husband, Bernard.
Jane and Bernard are the parents of two children. Their son Justin, a private contractor, also resides in Arkwright with his wife Cassie. Their daughter, Tiffany, lives in Dunkirk. Jane is also the grandmother to a bubbly little, 1 year old, Evelyn who is growing up in Arkwright. Evelyn, who is Jane’s pride these days, is one of the reasons why Jane has decided to pursue the position of Town Clerk. She wants to become more involved in continuing to make Arkwright township a great place for her current granddaughter and any future grandchildren to grow up in.
A graduate from Fredonia High School, Lindqist had been employed previously as the classified manager at the Post-Journal and the OBSERVER and was lastly employed by Home Depot until an accident put her out on disability.
Lindquist has not let her disability stop her and she feels that she has the flexible time needed to be able to meet all of the requirements of the town clerk’s position without other employment getting in the way.
Lindquist keeps active with family and friends helping to organize and/or participate in various fundraising events. Jane is well known throughout the area and feels that her friendly, outgoing personality will help welcome those coming to the clerk’s office making her a valuable asset to the town.
She is being endorsed by the Republican, Conservative and Working Families Parties.
