The festival also features activities including Create Your Own T-Shirt, Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop, Story Time with Santa, food vendors and more.

The Community Blood Bank is also raffling off a $250 Wal-Mart gift card weekly! Come donate blood at the “Miracle of Life” blood drive and be automatically entered to win.

The Community Blood Bank is the sole provider of blood and blood products to UPMC Chautauqua and Westfield Memorial Hospitals. The Community Blood Bank is in urgent need of all blood types, especially Type O blood donors.

Saturday’s blood drive runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Park Avenue and in West Barker Common. Walk-ins are welcome! Appointments are available.

“What is a better present to give this year than donating the life-saving unit of blood to a patient in need,” said Jaclyn Seymour, community relations specialist for the Community Blood Bank. “We know it’s a busy time of year, but as you get ready to gather with your loved ones, think of those who need your help in order to do the same. Donating blood at the Miracle of Life blood drive during the terrific festival is a great opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying all the holiday festivities.”
