Dunkirk man nabbed in Busti on drug charges
BUSTI — A Dunkirk man was charged with drug possession after being in a vehicle that was stopped for an alleged traffic violation on West Lake Road.
State Police in Jamestown report they charged Brandon Tate, 22, with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The Troopers pulled over his vehicle on Saturday. During the traffic stop, Tate, a passenger, was found to be in possession of 7.5 grams of cocaine, a methylenedioxy-methamphetamine tablet, four vape cartridges containing Tetrahydrocannabinol, 5.1 grams of concentrated cannabis, 6.9 grams of MDA, 4.5 grams of methylenedioxy-methamphetamine, a digital scale containing drug residue and several glassine baggies.
Tate was placed under arrest, processed at Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
