Cassadaga Job Corps announces information sessions and tours

CASSADAGA — Cassadaga Job Corps Academy will host tours and information sessions for interested applicants and their families on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m.

Cassadaga Job Corps Academy offers no-cost career training in the healthcare, construction, and security industries as well as classes to prepare to take the TASC or obtain a high school diploma. Career training programs include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, certified nurse assistant, and security.

In addition, the Academy also offers a Job Corps Advanced Training program for LPN, in partnership with BOCES. In order to enroll in Job Corps, applicants must be 16-24 years old and meet income and other guidelines, as well as demonstrate readiness to embark on a rigorous and demanding training program. Job Corps will provide the courses described above, as well as a comprehensive career preparation curriculum to ensure graduates are ready to enter the labor market.
