Class for motorists planned in February, May in Silver Creek

SILVER CREEK — The Community Education division of Silver Creek Central School District is offering TWO opportunities to take the 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Class in Room 182:

Saturday, Feb. 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Completion of this New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicle 5-hour pre-licensing course allows student to earn the MV285 certificate which is needed to sign up for a road test at the DMV.

Bring food, drink and your learner’s permit. Registration fee is $30 and the instructor is Tom Herring. A minimum of 8 students is required in order for the classes to be held.

To register visit www.silvercreekschools.org to download and print a form or call (716) 951-8111 and leave a message with your name, number and the name of your course. Send in your money promptly with a registration form and the fee. Checks or money orders can be made out to Silver Creek CS Community Ed. Those 65 and older are eligible for a 15% discount.
