Dunkirk man facing drug charges after traffic stop
CASSADAGA — A 40-year-old Dunkirk man is facing drug charges after being stopped Saturday morning.
Chautauqua County sheriff units stopped a motor vehicle on North Main Street for having no inspection sticker. Deputies identified the driver of the vehicle as Fred W. Bistrisky. Bistrisky was found to have a valid bench warrant and was found to have a revoked driver’s license.
He was placed in custody on the warrant and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Bistrisky was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a search was conducted subsequent to arrest.
