MAYVILLE — Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care invites the community to celebrate its 5th Annual Gala, “Under the Sea.” The evening of fun and aquatic adventures will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Chautauqua Suites Meeting and Expo Center in Mayville.

This fundraising event has become a must-attend for many in the community. Proceeds from the event allow CHPC to provide additional services and therapies that insurances do not cover. Costumes are never required, but always fun.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Attendees will find a beautifully decorated hall in the theme of Atlantis and have the opportunity to be photographed in a royal underwater throne. There will be themed games and silent auction items to explore before dinner. A delicious dinner and dessert will be served. Following dinner a live auction will be held followed by dancing to music provided by DJ Good Rich. A cash bar will be available for refreshments.

“The Gala will be packed with an evening full of swimmingly good fun sure to entice every water lover,” said BJ Buonaiuto, Events Manager at CHPC. “You may even win one of the many prizes the Queen of the Ocean has to offer her aquatic court.”

Sponsors for the event include The Chautauqua Suites Meeting and Expo Center, DJ Good Rich, WNY Concepts, Cummins Engine Plant, Tanner’s Garage, Conewango Kayak, Jamestown Rental Properties, Media One Group, Hansen Financial Group, Southern Tier Pediatrics, Community Bank, and Francesca’s.

Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner, desert and a drink ticket. Group and sponsorship packages are available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.chpc.care or in person at the CHPC office, 20 W Fairmount Ave. Lakewood. For more information, contact BJ Buonaiuto at bjb@chpc.care, or 716-410-1802.
