Firefighters battled the elements as well as the Stockton blaze on Sunday.

STOCKTON — Fire agencies from across northern Chautauqua County battled a house fire at 7334 Route 380 on Sunday evening.

Crews were called around 8:30 after smoke was showing in the back of the structure. Departments responding included: Brocton Fire, Dewittville Fire, Mayville Fire, Chautauqua County EMS, Cassadaga Fire, East Dunkirk Fire, Sinclairville Fire, Emergency Services, Hartfield Fire and Stockton Fire Departments.
