BROCTON — The town of Portland Ahira Hall Memorial Library, located in Brocton, invites patrons, friends, neighbors, and the public to an open house during open hours from 1 to 5 p.m. This month marks the library director’s 10-year anniversary.

Julie Putcher has served the library and its patrons unselfishly, willingly, and with wonderful dedication and grace. The library, the town noted, has become an enormous asset in Portland and Brocton and has grown impressively under her leadership. Stop by and congratulate Director Putcher as her service is greatly appreciated.
