Westfield man facing altercation troubles again

WESTFIELD — A town resident is again facing charges after an altercation last month.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported they investigated an alleged incident that occurred in the town Dec. 16. After further investigation, Anthony Delmonte, 20, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree menacing, third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Delmonte and he was arrested Friday. Delmonte was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and will be arraigned in front of The Centralized Arraignment Program.

Last January, Delmonte was arrested and issued two appearance tickets after an investigation into a domestic dispute that allegedly occurred Thursday between Delmonte and a female victim.

In that incident it was alleged Delmonte had punched and kicked the female victim while she was holding a child.
