AAA Western and Central New York is sponsoring a six-hour Defensive Driving Program course. Conducted by professionally trained AAA instructors, the class is recognized by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles as a Point and Insurance Reduction Program.

Class participants will receive up to a 10% insurance discount on collision and liability insurance premiums for the principal driver, valid for three years. They will reduce the total points on their driving record by up to four points for violations occurring within the past 18 months, and refresh driving skills while learning techniques for collision prevention.

The courses will be offered Saturday, Feb. 29 and Saturday, April 18 at the Jamestown Community College North County Center, 10807 Bennett Road. Each session will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $40 for AAA members and $45 for non-members.
