Fredonia incubator workshop to help entrepreneurs

A workshop designed to help entrepreneurs transform their business idea to reality, using the Business Model Canvas as a foundation document, will be held at the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk, today, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Jerry Adamski, president of CAL Solutions, will conduct the session that offers lecture content and an interactive workshop. Tools and techniques to validate facts or supporting information to move from a business idea to a startup will be presented and customer segments and corresponding value propositions will be identified.

Participants should be prepared to interact and share their current business idea.

Mr. Adamski has achieved considerable success in his career. He currently serves as an innovation coach and faculty member at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Simone Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, is on the Kate Gleason College of Engineering Advisory Board and International Hospitality and Service Innovation and is an NSF I-Corp Short Course Instructor.

Positions previously held by Adamski include CEO for Venture Creations startup and Vice President of Global Operations/Services for three multinational companies. He is a graduate of the Entrepreneurs Network program, Entrepreneur in Residence, Launch N.Y.

The workshop continues the incubator’s Entrepreneurial Education program and is free and open to the public.
