Brooks-TLC thanks Purina, Methodists and Rural Ministries for mask donations
Community organizations and businesses have stepped up to assist the Brooks-TLC Hospital System.
In a news release issued Sunday afternoon, the hospital offered its appreciation for the donation of health-grade masks from the groups.
“On behalf of our front line health care workers at Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc., thank you to our neighbors at Nestle Purina, First Fredonia United Methodists Church and Chautauqua County Rural Ministries for donating thousands of masks and other personal protective equipment for use at the hospital,” the release stated.
Globally, the demand for N95-type masks exceeds available supplies, causing a shortage during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Anybody willing to donate N95 or non-N-95 masks, or other health-grade supplies are asked to contact Community Relations at 363-3313 or via email to myhealth@brookshospital.org.
