Playgrounds in Fredonia now closed
Fredonia village police announced this morning it has closed all playgrounds until further notice.
“The closures will assist in stopping the spread of the coronavirus,” said village Police Chief Phil Maslak. “As always the Fredonia Police Department prides itself in protecting all of our children.”
Fredonia’s closure comes one day after Dunkirk officials did the same thing. State Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered playgrounds closed in New York City during a recent daily briefing regarding the virus.
