Cassadaga clerk warns residents of bogus email
The Cassadaga village clerk is warning residents of a possible scam.
Roxanne Astry announced that she has received calls saying she had sent out an email with an invoice.
“This is a scam. Do not open it,” she said in an email. “The email shows that it is coming from village of Cassadaga but it is not me.”
She has notified Netsync and changed the password to prevent this from happening again.
