Sinclairville accident leads to charges for Panama man
SINCLAIRVILLE — A Panama man is facing charges after a property damage accident early Thursday morning.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies arrived at an address in Sinclairville before 6 a.m. for a report of a leaving the scene property damage accident. The vehicle was located a short time later in the town of Ellery.
After an investigation it was found that Donald M. Swanson, 48, of Panama was operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol. Swanson was chareged with moving from lane unsafe, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, parked on pavement, unlicensed operator, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, DWI, DWAI drugs combination, and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree.
Swanson is to be before both town of Charlotte and town of Ellery at a later date to be arraigned.
