Dunkirk announces new city website

Dunkirk Mayor Wilfred Rosas and the Dunkirk Common Council announce the unveiling of the city’s new website, www.cityofdunkirk.com.

The city hired Revize, which was able to utilize the branding and marketing materials that were created by Block Club to create a modern and inviting new website.

Revize worked with D/Sgt. Daniel Manzella, as well as multiple city departments to create a user-friendly site that keeps residents updated; allows citizens to be part of their government and participate more in their community. The website includes multiple features that can be found in a tabular setting, as well as links to the city’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

“I am proud to be a part of this new website that brings our city into the 21st century,” Rosas said. “This website upgrade was much needed and will provide new services to our residents. I want to thank our consultants at Revize and everyone that was a part of the task force to get this project implemented. I am confident that this new website will create a better user experience.”

The new website is meant to allow easy bill payments and E-Notify functions. With E-Notify, residents can subscribe to be made aware of alerts the city wants the community to be aware of through the use of email and/or text message. City departments will utilize the website to keep the public updated on different projects, post forms, and update monthly calendars.

The public will be able to access a contact form so they can easily contact departments with specific questions. There is also the capability to subscribe to the city’s calendar through the website.
