Stockton councilman presented clock

Allen Chase has served on the Stockton Town Board for nearly 25 years and recently retired from the board. Chase was the budget officer for the board and at one time served as the town supervisor for four years. At a recent board meeting, David Wilson, town supervisor, presented Chase an engraved clock to keep on his desk. Wilson expressed his gratitude to Chase for all of his financial work. Chase, who was out of town for his last meeting, is shown on the Internet screen accepting the gift. The Stockton Town Board is completing its 199th year of serving the town, when the first town board met in April 1821. The Stockton Town Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
