November events at Anderson-Lee Library set

Submitted Photo Teens will be making a rock and bead photo holder this month at the Anderson-Lee Library.

SILVER CREEK — The Anderson-Lee Library, 43 Main St., Silver Creek, will hold several November events.

The library is open to the public Monday and Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library is closed Wednesday and Sunday. In addition, the library will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 26-27, for Thanksgiving.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, computer use is limited and appointments must be made to reserve a time. There is a limit of one hour per day per patron. Call the library at 934-3468 to reserve a time. Fax and copy service is available anytime the library is open.

All programming is either virtual or is available via Take and Make Activity Kits. Patrons of all ages can take home a free activity to put together at home. For the month of November, the library will have a leaf mobile kit for children. Teens can make a rock and bead photo holder and adults can make a fall leaf banner. The kits have all of the pieces to put together the project. Items needed at home include scissors, glue, and crayons/colored pencils/markers.

Miss Jill and Miss Amy are still providing storytime, again, on a virtual basis. Check Facebook for all of Miss Jill’s pre-recorded stories. New stories from Miss Jill are posted on Tuesday evenings for bedtime story time, Thursday morning for pre-school story time and Friday morning for Fairy Tale Fridays. Miss Amy will read to school age children via Zoom on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

Watch the library’s Facebook Page, visit www.andersonleelibrary.org or call the library for connection information.
