The Small Business Revolution Season 5, starring the village of Fredonia, is now available to watch on multiple platforms.
To kick off the season premiering, the Vineyards Golf Course hosted a viewing party at their grounds. Through a collaboration between Debbie Mancuso of the golf course and Michelle Joy, president of the Fredonia Chamber of Commerce, a reveal rally was planned and executed.
“It was such a great evening, with lots of community members and almost all of the businesses present,” said Larry Fiorella of the Fredonia Chamber of Commerce. “It made it even better that other small businesses came to sell food and beverages, it was so nice to see the support of small businesses.”
All of the chosen businesses were present, aside from Om Nohm, including Nyce and Clean, The Hair Bar Salon, Fresh and Fancy Floral Design Studio, Lena’s Pizza, Subs and Wings, Vineyards Golf Course, and the Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County. There were also almost 70 community members who came out to support and ended up enjoying a 70 degree evening under clear skies.
To ensure safety, golf carts were spaced out with 6 feet in between each other to retain social distancing and masks were worn when people were milling about. Other precautions were taken such as taking down every person’s name down who attended to contact trace.
“Everybody was really good about following the rules and protocols,” Fiorella said. “Not one person standing and walking around did not have a mask on.”
Given the distance between everybody, the screen for the viewing of the show had to be big, so the golf course bought a 20 feet long screen to project the show onto. Before the crowd watched the first two episodes, a personal pre-recorded message from Amanda Brinkman was played, congratulating Fredonia on the win and talking about how difficult but rewarding it was to film.
Season 5 is now available to watch on https://smallbusinessrevolution.org/small-business-revolution/main-street/season-five/ and YouTube for free. The show should soon be available for viewing on Hulu and Amazon Prime as well.
