MAYVILLE — There are 172 elected offices up for election in the Nov. 2 general election.

Chautauqua County Democratic Committee Chair Norman P. Green said the party is looking for candidates to run.

“Particularly I am looking for candidates to run for County Executive, County Clerk and in fourteen of the nineteen County Legislature districts,” Green said. “The first day to circulate Democratic designating petitions is Tuesday Feb. 23.”
