WESTFIELD — Westfield Democratic Committee held their Democratic Caucus to nominate candidates to fill positions in village government on Jan. 21.

The current Mayor, Michael VandeVelde, was nominated to serve another two-year term. Jeffrey Thomas was nominated for another four-year term as village justice. Candidates for the two open seats on the Village Board of Trustees are Joshua Freifeld and Judith Einach. Trustee terms are also two-year terms. All four candidates are running in uncontested races.

The Westfield village election will be held on March 16.
