Ground broken on new dental office

OBSERVER Photo by Jo Ward Dr. Susan Soja, Dr. Julie Mills and Dr. Michael Lee broke ground at the future site of the North Chautauqua Dental Office on Bennett Road in Dunkirk.

North Chautauqua Dental is moving sometime within the fall to winter season of this year.

The facility, currently located at 744 Central Ave. in Dunkirk, will be relocating to 10772 Bennett Road and will be a brand new, state-of-the-art facility being built from the ground up.

“We knew for the last few years that we were outgrowing our current building and we also needed more parking spaces for our patients and staff,” co-owner Julie Mills said. “Our new office will be approximately 6300 square feet, about three-times larger than our current location with lots of ample parking spaces.”

This location is very visible on Bennett Road and should be easy to get in and out; it’s less than 2 miles from the office’s current location.

“Inside the office will have 17 treatment rooms where we hope to continue to expand on services we provide such as implants, invisalign and cosmetic dentistry,” Mills said. “The office will exceed all expectations of COVID guidelines such as air filtration systems and touchless sinks. We will have all new state-of-the-art digital equipment also. We plan to utilize some local companies into our building process as much as possible. Our plan is to have the building completed by the end of 2021; we are very excited.”

The location broke ground March 10.

Established in 1980, North Chautauqua Dental has 40 years of experience in the field of dentistry in everything from dentures, root canals, periodontal (gum) therapy, extractions, fillings, TMJ disorder treatment, cosmetic dentistry, bonding, veneers, crowns and bridges and teeth whitening.
