Schintzius seeks 2nd term

Edward Schintzius

HANOVER — Edward Schintzius is running for his second term as a councilman in the town of Hanover. Schintzius is a retired police detective who also worked as an investigator for the district attorney in Niagara County and in the U.S. Marshal Service. He served in The United States Marine Corps He is married to his wife Laurie and has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.

As a councilman he has been enthusiastically and aggressively pushing for new business in the town of Hanover. He is responsible for the upgrading of the town beach, boat launch and fish cleaning station. He has worked closely with the highway superintendent to improve the buildings and equipment in the town.

He is a volunteer at the Silver Creek Food Pantry and has worked with Habitat for Humanity.

Schintzius also represents the town at the Waterfront Revitalization Program and the Northern Chautauqua Community Harbor Impact Study.

He has been endorsed by the Democratic Party and The Conservative Party.
