CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BEMUS POINT — James D. Vincent, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. Deputies responded at 3:18 a.m. Sunday to a report of a suspicious person wandering around a property in Bemus Point. The person was identified as Vincent, who was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was dropped off at his residence and is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

SENTENCES

The Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office announced the following sentences handed down Sept. 9 by Judge John L. LaMancuso in Jamestown City Court:

¯ Alan Broadwater, 40, to an indeterminate state prison sentence of 3 1/2 to 7 years for third-degree burglary after pleading guilty on May 24 for an incident that occurred in March of 2021.

¯ Braxton Achterberg, 24, was sentenced Sept. 9 to an indeterminate state prison sentence of 3 1/2 to 7 years for third-degree burglary after pleading guilty on May 5 for an incident that occurred in June 2020.
