Crews respond to Route 60 crash

Cassadaga, Fredonia fire departments, along with state police responded to an accident Wednesday around 12:30 p.m. on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret, near the village of Cassadaga line.

A trooper at the scene said an individual driving a mini van was traveling north when the driver went off the side of the road, landing in a ditch, heavily damaging her vehicle. She was placed in an ambulance and was believed to be headed to a local hospital. The woman was conscious and did not appear to have any life threatening injuries.
