Scudder seeking re-election to legislature

Chautauqua County Legislator Bob Scudder announces his candidacy for re-election in the third district.

The third district includes the west side of the village of Fredonia and the town of Pomfret. Scudder is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines.

As a 35-year resident of Fredonia, Scudder is invested in his community. He is an owner of East Main Laundry, Scudder’s Blueberry Farm, and The Mustard Seed Restaurant.

“I love serving the public in many different ways, but I think my favorite is as their county legislator,” he said. “It would be an honor to continue serving for another two years.”

Scudder has served in the Legislature on the Public Facilities Committee, Human Service Committee, and as Chairman of the Administrative Services Committee.

“Besides keeping taxes low and services high, being a part of a ‘politics free’ Legislature and working solely for the good of county residents is what I am most proud of,” he said.
