Due to the recent heavy snowfall and the expected continued cold temperatures, all snowmobile trails in Chautauqua County are currently open.

In addition, Winter Fest is taking place this weekend in Bemus Point. The county anticipates hundreds of out of state snowmobilers to visit this weekend.

The Mayville office of the Department of Motor Vehicles will be open this Saturday, Jan. 22, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to take care of the registration needs of all snowmobilers. Walk-in service will be available at this time. All customers are asked to observe the NYS Health Department protocols for COVID-19 protection.
