Dunkirk Seniors announce upcoming events
The January birthday luncheon will be Wednesday for the Dunkirk Senior Citizens. Any member with a January birthday is asked to call the Senior Center to register. The birthday person may bring a guest at a cost of $7.
The Senior Center will be having a Super Bowl Party on Saturday, Feb.12. Doors open at noon. Members must register in the Senior Center Office to attend. The Center will provide pizza. Sign up to bring a munchie and have some Super Bowl fun.
aBig Bingo will be on Wednesday, Feb. 9. Doors open at 4 p.m. with a light dinner being served at 4:30. Bingo begins at 5 p.m.
Membership dues for 2022 are being collected. The cost is $5 for the year. Anyone reaching the age of 85 before Jan. 31, 2022 is eligible for an Honorary Membership with no payment. Social time is held at the Center every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Bring a bag lunch and play 25 cent bingo. Dominoes are played on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Advanced Tai Chi is held Tuesday and Thursday at 3 p.m. Mah Jongg is played Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Pinochle is played Monday and Friday at 1 p.m. Exercise is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.
Electronic classes are scheduled every two weeks. Call the Center office to register for Cell Phone class, Tablet class, I-Pad class or Computer class. The new pill bottle guess has started for the month of January. Stop in the Center Office to place your guess.
