Test kits available

SILVER CREEK — The village of Silver Creek has a limited number of COVID antigen test kits available for distribution. The village board has decided to distribute some of these kits to the senior population at its weekly meeting, and the balance will be available to village residents beginning Thursday at 9 a.m. at village hall. The kits are free and one per household (two tests) will be distributed until gone. Should more kits become available, a drive through procedure will be set up.

Service Sunday shifts to Silver Creek

There will be no worship service at the First United Presbyterian Church of Dunkirk on Sunday. The congregation will be worshiping at the First United Presbyterian Church in Silver Creek at 10 a.m.

Bills Boosters plan viewing

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs playoff game on Sunday at the Moniuszko Club in Dunkirk. Game time is 6:30 p.m. Pizza and snacks will be provided during the game. Members may bring appeticers to pass. Members must be fully vaccinated to attend.

Sewer district sets Tuesday meeting

There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors for the Portland, Pomfret, Dunkirk Sewer District on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The meeting will be at the town of Dunkirk meeting room on Willow Road in the town of Dunkirk. If anybody from the public would like to attend the meeting they must first contact the district office at 716-753-4715 before the start of the meeting to allow for proper social distancing in the meeting.

Face covering is required to enter the building and during the meeting.

Library sets annual meeting

SILVER CREEK — The Anderson-Lee Library will hold its annual meeting at 8 p.m. on Monday. The meeting will be at the library, which is located at 43 Main St. The public is invited to attend. Masks are mandatory and COVID safety protocols will be in place.

Chapter to meet

The next meeting of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter No. 459, will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, at the John T. Murray VFW Post No. 1017 at 113 Deer St., Dunkirk.
