Trustee to host village sessions

Trustee Jon Espersen will be hosting a series of informal community discussions termed W(h)ine Time at various venues throughout Fredonia. Residents of the village are encouraged to attend and engage in a wide-ranging look at the state of the village, improvements you would like to see, changes you feel are necessary, what we are doing right and what could be done better. The community’s input is vital as the Board of Trustees and Mayor Douglas Essek strive to make Fredonia a source of pride for all residents.

The first event will be at Heenan’s Irish Pub at Main and Eagle streets beginning at 4:30 p.m. April 19. Fredonia DPW Department Head Scott Marsh will be joining Espersen.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for the residents to participate in local government, to engage their elected officials and village employees in discussions and to make their voices heard,” Espersen said.
