SILVER CREEK – The Music Department of Silver Creek Central School District is hosting its annual Music Gala and dinner fundraiser at the village ballpark on Wednesday, June 1.

This event features tons of great music, is an opportunity to connect with the community and celebrate everything the district’s students and staff have accomplished during the 2021-2022 academic year.

“We are excited to be joined by our talented students from all three schools this year,” says music teacher Phillip McMullen. “It’s going to be an exceptional and high energy concert.”

The music portion of the event kicks off at 4 p.m., but the pre-sale Weidner barbecue chicken ($14) and rib ($18) dinner fundraiser will be held from 3 to 6:30 p.m. The meals include mac and cheese and salt potatoes. Tickets may be purchased from any SCCS music student or Phillip McMullen via email at pmcmullen@silvercreekschools.org. A limited number of dinners will be available at the concert. Proceeds support the performing arts at SCCS.

The concert will begin with small groups, solos and duets. The combined choirs will perform at 5 p.m. followed by the various band groups until shortly after 6 with the various choral groups performing until shortly after 7 p.m.
