Chapter plants flowers at grave site

Submitted Photo The gravesite of Martha Jane (Jennie) Prescott in Forest Hill Cemetery in Fredonia, received a planting of red geraniums by the Benjamin Prescott Chapter membership last month during a beautiful rainy spring day. Jennie was the great-granddaughter of Colonel Benjamin Prescott, the chapter’s namesake and organized and led the chapter which still meets and volunteers today in its mission of education, patriotism and historic preservation.
