Christmas fun in Dunkirk

The Dunkirk Festivals Department recently held it’s Christmas in July Vendor Market at Memorial Park and the Dunkirk Boardwalk.

Santa Claus, Rudolph and their elf made a special appearance along with horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Magic Moments Carriages. “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” outdoor movie, hosted by El Rigby Theater, concluded the pre-holiday event.

Participating local and out of town vendors included Boutique Rose, Brenda Zosh, Carousel Cookies, Chautauqua County Rural Ministry, City of Dunkirk Housing Authority, Country Fancies, Discovery Toys, East to West Henna, Good Intentions, Hazel Lou Gifts & Crafts, House to Home, JJB Custom Designs, Kim’s Glorious Design, Ohana Crafts and Creations, ROCruz Creations, Simply Perfect Creations, The Perfect Match, Thirty-One, Welcome Gnome, Woofie Cookies and ZuZu’s Goodies & Sweet Treats.

Dunkirk Boardwalk participating merchants were Chai’s Chocolates, Papaya Arts and Treasures by the Lake. Vendor Janet Szopinski presented the idea to city staff members.
