Harbor water work begins

Dredging and weed removal has begun at Dunkirk Harbor. It started this week and is expected to last a couple weeks more, according to Dunkirk Department of Public Works Director Randy Woodbury. Dean Marine and Excavating from Mount Clemens, Mich., is doing the work, under contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
