County Libertarian Party holds seventh convention at Bemus Point See-Zurh House

Chair Andrew Martin Kolstee called the convention to order. The following officers were elected for 2022-2024: Len Morlock as chair, Bob Peterson as vice-chair, and Andrew Kolstee as secretary/treasurer.

The keynote speaker was Duane Whitmer, chair of the Erie County Libertarian Party who was also elected the first vice-chair of the Libertarian Party of New York at its September state convention in Niagara Falls. Kolstee was also elected chair of the Libertarian Party of New York at the convention.

The Chautauqua County Libertarian Party is promoting Larry Sharpe in his second run for governor of New York in a challenge to Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul and the Republican candidate, Congressman Lee Zeldin.
