Dunkirk man charged after apparent stabbing
DUNKIRK — A Dunkirk man is being charged in connection with an apparent Saturday morning stabbing.
City police report they responded to 37 N. Ocelot St. at 8 a.m. Once on scene, officers did locate a male victim at the location.
Due to the seriousness of the victim’s injuries, he was transported from the scene to UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie for treatment.
Through an investigation, David J. Texidor, 29, was charged with second-degree assault and first-degree burglary. Texidor was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail after his arraignment in Dunkirk City Court.
