Pair charged Thursday after search of Jamestown property

A narcotics investigation led to the arrests of two men this week in Jamestown.

A search warrant was executed at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at 215 W. 5th St. Inside, police located Jordan B. Dandridge, 20, and an adult female.

During a search of the residence, detectives recovered 37.6 grams cocaine, packaging materials, scales, cash and a loaded .45 caliber pistol that had been reported stolen.

Dandridge was taken into custody on charges of criminal possession of a firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

Just prior to the execution of the warrant, police observed Deion J. Carr, 37, leaving the residence. He was stopped by a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s K-9 unit and gave the deputy a false name.

After being identified, Carr was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation; he was taken into custody on the charge as well as on warrants out of the city and Sheriff’s Office and was transported to jail.
