The Dunkirk Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at about 6:15 p.m. on Sunday in the 400 block of Columbus Avenue.
According to police, a 34-year-old male arrived at Brooks Hospital by private vehicle for injuries related to a gunshot wound. The victim was being treated for non-life threatening injuries and the suspects were known by the victim. The incident is under investigation.
