Dunkirk Multiplex welcomes Gamer’s Guild

Members of Dunkirk Public Library's Gamer's Guild were recently welcomed by the Dunkirk Multiplex to attend an early screening of the new film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
Seven members and their families were invited to see the movie as a group. Many of the club participants had been anticipating another group outing since the idea was proposed last September during their end of summer "Pirate Feast" celebration.
Two days after viewing the film, a number of the Gamer's Guild members returned to the Multiplex to help promote both the film and their club by playing a five-hour session of Dungeons & Dragons in the theater lobby. Movie-goers were invited to join in, learn about the Gamer's Guild, and enter a prize drawing for a set of Bard gaming dice, chosen in honor of Chris Pine's character from the film.
The students are grateful to the Multiplex management and staff for their hospitality. They offer thanks to guest Dungeon Master Rose Kinslow, who served as storyteller for one of the two afternoon sessions.
