Pork roast dinner planned in Forestville

FORESTVILLE — The well-known and enjoyed, famous, fall pork roast dinner is coming to the St. Rose of Lima Church Hall this spring. In years past, a chicken over biscuit dinner was offered in the spring to benefit the food pantry.

Due to the overwhelming requests to have a second pork roast dinner during the year, the ladies of the St. Rose Society decided to change the, menu. The Spring Pork Roast Dinner will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 6 pm. This meal will begin with a tossed salad, followed by a generous portion of roast pork, fresh creamy potatoes, and green beans. Dessert and beverage are included for the price of $15 a plate.

Tickets are available at the door for indoor seating or take out dinners. All proceeds will be donated to the Forestville Food Pantry.

In addition to the dinner, a gift basket raffle and 50-50 will be held in the hall. Reservations are not necessary but if you need a table set aside for your family or group, call ahead. For more information, call Carmen at 965-9914.

Starting at $3.50/week.
